How you pay for Customei
Customei is billed through Shopify, so every charge appears on your regular Shopify invoice — no separate card to manage. Your bill has two parts:- A monthly plan — a fixed subscription that unlocks features and includes a bucket of credits.
- Credits — consumed every time Customei does compute-heavy work on your behalf (print file generation, AI product generation, etc.).
What a credit is
A credit is Customei’s unit of usage. One credit is spent whenever Customei:- Generates a print-ready file for a paid order.
- Runs an AI generation in the AI Product Lab.
- Re-runs a print file you’ve asked it to regenerate.

Soft and hard limits
Regardless of plan, a few technical limits apply:- Template size. Canvas up to TBD × TBD px.
- Layers per template. Recommended under 100; performance degrades past that.
- Upload size per customer image. Up to TBD MB.
- Library assets per account. No hard cap; fair-use review applies past TBD.
- Option set fields. Recommended under 30 per set for storefront readability.
